Casa Lucia is an old olive press beautifully converted into 8 self-catering cottages, set in glorious gardens with a unique swimming pool decorated with mosaics. Each unit varies in size and design, but all are comfortable and retain the old beams, clay tile roofs and thick stone walls which keep them cool in summer, warm in winter. The place is peaceful and relaxing; people of all nationalities and ages return year after year; children are safe and free; groups feel at ease; people on their own are not lonely; TV, internet, telephone are only available in reception to leave you undistracted; there are plenty of books, fresh air, green grass, lovely flower scents, children’s activities, workshops, alternative therapies, bodylistening, yoga, t’ai chi, birdsong, stars at night and good company - now that's a real holiday.
Set in the middle of Corfu in a small village with one of the best restaurants, and a brilliant village shop, Casa Lucia is an ideal setting-off point to explore the whole island. There is a very good bus service, taxis are easily called; walking, cycling, horse-riding are popular and the fine golf course is 15 minutes drive away; car hire can be arranged to meet ships or planes.
