Blue Bay Hotel is decent accommodation, close to the beach. Private parking is available to guests, as well as a large landscaped yard.
It is a time-honored, decently maintained hotel, with a reception desk, a bar, a landscaped garden with benches and tables in front of the entrance, an asphalted parking area within the courtyard itself, a basketball court, a children's playground, a large, landscaped courtyard at the back and access to the beach about fifty meters long.
Tourists have available 15 rooms for two to three people (combinations of a double bed and one sofa that can be opened or a double bed and a single bed) and seven studios (two for three people and five studios for four people). Some of the accommodation units have a fantastic view of the sea, and some have a view of the yard and the surrounding hills and mountains.
All rooms are equipped with wooden, more modest furniture, medium-sized refrigerators, air conditioners, televisions, hair dryers and sufficiently spacious balconies with seating, usually separated by a screen from the neighboring balcony, with mosquito nets on the doors and windows.
The studios are just as equipped as the rooms, with each of them having a kitchen and a larger balcony.
Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis (a la carte).
Towels, bed linen and cleaning are provided.
The beach in Kinira is partly pebble (large pebbles and stones in the water), partly sandy (there is sand on the shore, in the depth and on the far right part of the beach and in the shallows). Paradise beach is near Kinira, it is sandy, with a very long shallow and big waves. It is completely specific because it looks like beaches in some distant, exotic places. By the way, both Kinira and Paradise beach are recognizable by the conical islet located opposite them, which they overlook.
There are several restaurants and markets in Kinira. A larger selection of facilities needed by tourists is in Skala Potamia, 7km from Kinira.
All in all, the Blue Bay Hotel is a good choice for tourists who don't want to pay a lot for accommodation, and who like to get a decent room or studio, a nice garden, a parking space and be close to the central beach in Kinira and as close as possible to the famous Paradise beach.
