Esperides Sofras Hotel is located in one of the best locations on Thassos, first of all, due to its proximity to the capital for wonderful evening walks, shopping, activities for children, but also the proximity of a large number of beautiful beaches located in the vicinity of Limenas.
This three-star hotel is located on the left side of the main road that connects Limenas and Pahis, Skala Rahoni and Skala Prinos, 4 km from the new port of Limenas, in the area of Glikada. Before you come to Esperides Sofras Resort, you will pass Tarsanas Beach, Glyfada, Nisteri and Kohylia hotels, as well as Villa Victoria and Papalimani Beach on your right. 200-300m after Papalimani beach, on the left side of the highway, you will see the Esperides hotel complex.
The hotel also has its own beach, from which it is separated only by the main road, which is not busy in that part. The beach is small, with natural shade, sand on the shore, shallow, gradual depth and a combination of sand and gravel in the water. Sunbeds and umbrellas are free for hotel guests. About three hundred meters before the hotel beach is the beautiful Papalimani beach, with a restaurant in the back, sunbeds, umbrellas and a concrete jetty, and at the same distance after the hotel is the beach of the Glykadi hotel, also with sunbeds and umbrellas.
The hotel complex consists of eight two-story buildings, painted white, between which there is a paved area with a swimming pool, a bar, sunbeds and umbrellas. On the ground floor of the main building are the reception and lobby, and on the first floor there is a restaurant with a dining room and a large terrace with a view of the sea.
This hotel has 38 rooms (about 20m2) that can accommodate a maximum of two adults and a child up to 13 years old, three junior rooms (30m2) and three suites (about 40m2).
There are 16 rooms of type 2 Bed Room, Standard (2+1), 16 2 Bed Room Classic (2+1) rooms and six 2 Bed Room Sea View (2+1) units.
The 2 Bed Room, Standard (2+1) units are located on the ground floor and are equipped with a French bed, and if necessary, an extra bed for a child up to 13 years old can be added. These rooms have a view of the courtyard. The rooms of type 2 Bed Room Classic (2+1) are located on the first and second floor and have a French bed in them and, if necessary, another additional bed can be added. Some rooms have a view of the courtyard and some have a partial side view of the sea. They differ from the units on the ground floor in that they are equipped with newer furniture. 2 Bed Room Sea View (2+1) have the same arrangement of beds as the previous rooms - one French bed and an extra bed, if needed. They are located on the first and second floor but have a view of the sea.
This hotel has two types of units that can accommodate families of four - 4 Bed Room, Junior (2+2) and 4 Bed Apartment. Two junior rooms are located on the first floor and one on the ground floor. They are equipped in the same way, with one French bed, and two additional beds can be inserted if necessary. These rooms also have a view of the sea. Four-bed apartments have a French bed in a separate bedroom, while there are two single beds in the living room. One is on the ground floor, the second on the first floor and the third on the second (last) floor. These apartments have a side view of the sea.
We also offer a four-bed apartment with a view of the mountains, located on the first floor. There is a double bed in the bedroom, while there are two single beds in the living room. It does not have a kitchen in its composition.
All rooms have air conditioning, TV, mini bar, safe. There is a shower in the bathrooms, except in the four-bed apartments, which are equipped with cabins. Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis (buffet table). Breakfast is served from 8:00-10:30. Wireless internet is available in the lobby of the hotel by the reception and around the pool near the bar. It is probably possible to catch it in certain rooms that are close to the router.
Towels and bed linen are changed every 3-4 days, and cleaning is done daily.
Lawns, trimmed bushes, flowers and palm trees were maintained around all the buildings. Everything looks very nice.
The hotel parking lot is along the highway, in front of and behind the main building. The parking lot is reached from the back by a dirt road along the side of the yard.
Apart from the hotel restaurant, the restaurant in the hinterland of Papalimani beach and other hotels and villas, there are no tourist attractions in the area. The nearest markets, bakeries, pastry shops, pharmacies, clubs, etc. are in Limenas (4km) or Skala Rahoni (7km).
Esperides Sofras Resort is an excellent choice, because it only takes 2-3 minutes to drive to the center of Limenas and all its facilities (promenade, amusement park, restaurants, shops), and it is also excellent as a base for touring the island, because it is very close to the most beautiful beaches such as Mermerna (6km), Makrijamos (2km), La Scala (4km), Pahis (8km).
