Accommodation: Mary Hotel

Hotel Mary is a modest hotel located in the heart of Limenas. The promenade is a few steps away from the accommodation and the first market is right next to the building, so it can be said that the accommodation is ideal for those who want to be in accommodation and have all the facilities that a place offers at their fingertips.

Hotel Mary, with two stars, is located in the very center of Limenas, in the street that intersects the street that is a pedestrian area and exits to the new harbor (the part where there is a police station, public parking on the coast, a taxi station, an amusement park...), next to the Arvanitidis market, above the Manos clothing boutique, the Germanos mobile phone store, a newsagent, a hair salon and Vodafone. The hotel is about a hundred meters from the sea (new port), and about 400-500 meters from the city beach.

On the ground floor of the hotel there is a reception, hall, dining room and entrance/exit to the courtyard at the back of the hotel, paved, with sofas for sitting under vines.

There are 10 rooms available to tourists on the first floor - one economy single (14m2), one economy double (18m2), five standard double rooms (20m2, only one has a double bed), two suite units (26m2) and one economy triple room (23m2). Balconies face either the street or the courtyard and parking lot at the back and side of the hotel. The rooms correspond to the categorization of the hotel, they are not luxurious, but they are quite decent. Double rooms have two joined single beds or one French, and three-bed rooms have two joined and one separate single bed. The junior suite has one French bed. The furniture is classic, wooden, hotel style. There is a wardrobe in every room, as well as a dressing table with a mirror. The bathrooms are of medium quality, with a shower.

In the rooms there is a refrigerator, a small TV hanging on the wall, air conditioning (newer or older type, depending on which room), telephone and hair dryer. There are no safes. Wireless internet signal is available throughout the hotel. They have a cot for babies.

Cleaning is done daily, and bed linen and towels are changed every three days.

The hotel has its own large, fenced, dirt parking space, which is not the case with most facilities in the center of Limenas.

After disembarking from the ferry, if you go on foot, you can reach the hotel in a few minutes, moving in the direction to the left towards the city center, the police station, the taxi station, the luna park. However, if you arrived on Thassos by car, you must drive to the opposite side of the hotel (to the right of the ferry disembarkation), then go around the center of the town and go down towards the new port, the police station, the amusement park..., since the street leading from the ferry disembarkation to the street where the hotel is is one-way, and you cannot drive directly to the hotel (opposite direction).

I recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to be in the center of town, a step away from all the facilities that the town has to offer, and at the same time wants Limenas as a base for touring the island.
