Halkidiki Holidays Studios is a modest accommodation right on the beach, located at the entrance to Nea Potidea from Thessaloniki. The facility has ten smaller, but neat and functional studios in ground-floor buildings, intended for the stay of two to four people. The accommodation is particularly known for the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner, who is always available to guests.
Nea Potidea is about 1.8 km away and can be reached on foot or by car. The city center itself is located about 1.5 km away, where a market, a pharmacy and a private doctor's clinic are available, while the nearest hospital is in Nea Mudanja, about 7 km away.
The building was built in 2011 and consists of two ground-floor buildings. In the first building, there are six studios, four of which are facing the sea, while two are oriented towards the inner part of the yard. The second building is located sideways to the sea and completely behind the first one, without sea view, and houses four studios.
The studios in the first building are smaller in size and have one double bed and a small kitchen. The bathrooms are compact, with an enclosed shower, but functional. Studios with a sea view (A1, A2, A3 and A4) have a double bed and a pull-out sofa, as well as verandas that are partitioned laterally and equipped with a table, chairs and two deckchairs for sunbathing. The studios facing the inner courtyard are slightly larger and, in addition to the French bed, also have a sofa bed. Studio D1 has two French beds per floor, no sink, only a stove and a refrigerator, while studios B1 and B2 have fenced terraces or verandas.
In the front part of the yard there is a common kitchen area with a mini-stove and oven, a wood-burning stove, a brick grill, a large refrigerator for food storage, as well as covered tables and chairs for dining and socializing. There is also a gas stove with two large burners. In the back part of the yard, there is also a grill, a large refrigerator for cooling food, water and fruit, as well as a dining table. The barbecue in the front yard can be used by all guests.
Each studio has a TV and internet access, while a hair dryer is available on request. A washing machine is also available to guests. All studios, except studio D1, have a kitchen and air conditioning, the use of which requires an additional charge. Meal preparation is more practical in the communal kitchen in the courtyard. Two sunbeds and a beach umbrella are provided for each studio, and guests also receive an apparatus with mosquito tablets. There is also a shower in the yard.
Towels and bed linen are changed every five days, while guests take care of the daily hygiene of the studio themselves.
Free parking is available along the street in front of the accommodation itself.
The beach in front of the accommodation is long and sandy on the shore, while the water in the first few meters has stones, followed by sand and shallow sea. There are bars on the beach whose sunbeds and umbrellas can be used with an ordered drink.
