Our description
Prosforio Rooms is an accommodation in a beautiful and lively location in Ouranopolis, close to the center, restaurants and the beach. It has seven accommodation units for 2-4 people, and exudes cleanliness and care of a kind owner. Small pets are also welcome. Accommodation is open all year round.

The sandy beach is 250m away. The nearest bakery and restaurant are only 20m away, while the center and market are about 200m away. The port is located at a distance of 400m, and the office for pilgrims to Mount Athos 50m.

Accommodation units are located on the high ground floor, ie the ground floor at the back (the building is located on a slight elevation) and the first floor.

Upstairs there is a three-bed studio and two apartments (for two or four people). The three-bed studio and the four-bed apartment have corner terraces. Triple studio (23m2) has three single beds, kitchen and bathroom. The double apartment (18m2) has a bedroom with two single beds and a TV, a kitchen (with a stove, a small fridge and the necessary utensils) and a bathroom. The four-bed apartment (28m2) has a bedroom with three single beds, a kitchenette (stove and dishes) with one single bed and a bathroom.

On the (high) ground floor there are two double rooms, one three-bed studio and one three-bed apartment.

The three-bed apartment (21m2) has an entrance from the side, through a fenced small yard with a gate, which makes it great for families with small children. It has a bedroom with two single beds, a kitchen (stove, large refrigerator with freezer and necessary utensils) with one single bed and a bathroom.

The triple studio (19m2) has two entrances (inside and outside), three single beds, a kitchen, a bathroom (not renovated) and a fenced veranda.

Double rooms (14m2) have a view of the street and the sea, two single beds, a small refrigerator, bathroom and terrace with dryer. One room has an entrance from the inside, while the other has from the outside, the side, and it has a terrace and a small veranda.

All bathrooms have an unfenced shower with a curtain.

Accommodation is air conditioned and has internet, TV, hairdryer and mosquito nets. If someone needs a laundry service, they can contact the owners.

The accommodation is modestly equipped, but well maintained and functional. The bathrooms were renovated in 2018.

Cleaning is done daily, while towels are changed every two days.

Private parking is not provided, but diagonally from the building there is a large, paid public parking.

At only 250m from the beach, 300m from the port and 50m from the office for pilgrims to Mount Athos, the hospitable family-run accommodation Prosforio Rooms will satisfy all who have chosen Ouranopolis for their holiday, as well as pilgrims to Mount Athos who want to rest before who set out or returned from Mount Athos.

All apartments are equipped, air conditioned and have a furnished balcony with sea and / or mountain views. All have a flat-screen TV, fridge, electric kettle and bed linen. Also, all apartments have a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, while some have a separate kitchen that is fully equipped, with stove, oven, kitchen utensils and crockery.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Luggage storage is free. The staff of this accommodation can help you obtain written permission to enter Mount Athos.

Across the street there is a public parking lot which is not expensive, and right in front of the accommodation is an intercity bus stop to and from Thessaloniki. A pharmacy, a bakery, a pizzeria, a supermarket, restaurants, coffee bars and a market are within walking distance.

Apartment with a terrace (23m2) is air conditioned and opens onto a balcony with mountain views and partial sea views, and includes a flat-screen TV. Maximum capacity is three people.
