Platania beach is sandy, with a gradual depth. Part of it is decorated, and a large part is available to visitors with their own equipment. The advantage of this beach is that it is never crowded. Nearby are the famous Orange and Mega Portokali beaches (7km), as well as Klimataria, Tigania, Valti, Agridia, Turkolimnionas and many others.

The terrace of the studio on the first floor offers a wonderful view of the sea and Sarta. It is located just above the highway, 300 m from the center and 400 m from the sandy beach. Although at first glance it seems far away, all facilities and the sea can be reached very quickly. It has two studios on the first floor and one studio on the ground floor, which were renovated in 2022. The other four studios in the same house, two on the ground floor and two on the first floor, belong to another owner, namely Evelen studios. The studios are three-bedded (16 m2) and have a double bed, and there is also a drawer bed with the dimensions of a single bed that can be pulled out from under the double bed. Balconies are about 5 m2. The studios on the first floor have a panoramic view of Sarti and the beach, while the studios on the ground floor have their own courtyard and a slightly worse view of the sea, but they definitely have it. All studios have a small kitchen, air conditioning (extra charge), internet and TV. Bathrooms are also small, with an enclosed shower area and curtain in upstairs studios, and a glass partition in downstairs studios. Bed linen and towels are changed halfway through the stay. Next to the house there is a barbecue area with a table and chairs. There is also a private parking lot. House rules are from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and from 11:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Coming from the direction of Vourvourou, you will see the accommodation on the right side of the highway, 250 m after entering Sarti. Evelen House is a good choice for anyone who wants decent accommodation at good prices. It is suitable for couples or families with small children who are not demanding.

Coming from the direction of Limenaria, immediately after the Alexandra Beach Hotel, turn left and drive about 100 meters. You will recognize the villa by the large pink building next to the road and the clothing store on the ground floor. Next to the pink building is a path through the yard that leads to the villa and the beach. The villa is absolutely sheltered from noise, and yet less than a minute walk from the promenade, shops, bakeries and supermarkets. It has a fantastic yard full of greenery and shade, swings, comfortable seating and kiosks, and there is also a barbecue with tables for socializing and dining. The yard opens onto a small beach that is sandy on the shore, and the first few meters in the water are rocks. Accommodation consists of three buildings, two of which are on the beach, and the third is in the same yard, but about 50 meters from the beach. The third building is a very nice house on two levels (maisonette), suitable for a family of four. The house has one double bed on the ground floor, bathroom and kitchen, and upstairs another room with two single beds. In front of the house is a very spacious veranda with furniture for sitting, relaxing and enjoying, and next to the house is a parking space. If you want a more intimate variant of accommodation near the beach, there may be no better choice than this house in Potos. The other two buildings are located next to the beach. All apartments are renovated and very nicely decorated, and all have sea views. The sea from some terraces is partially sheltered by trees in the yard, but the view is certainly beautiful and the greenery and the sea, and the smell of conifers and the sea is invaluable. The apartments are very well lit, the furniture is in light tones, so with a view of the sea, staying in them is really pleasant. They are intended for families with two or three children. They have spacious terraces, an equipped kitchen, a TV, a double bed, a pull-out bed the size of a double bed and air conditioning. The bedroom is separated by a door from the living room where there is a kitchen with dining area. As part of the accommodation there is also a double room without kitchen (there is only a refrigerator) and a triple studio (with kitchen). Towels are cleaned and changed every other day, while bed linen is changed every four days. The yard is very nice and pleasant. It has a direct view of the sea, lots of shade, tables with chairs, swings and above all, complete peace. You can grill here, because there is a part with a built-in grill and tables and chairs. Villa Papaoikonomou is truly one of the few accommodations with a large parking lot and a courtyard in the city center and on the beach. If you do not like the beach in front of the villa, the city's sandy beach is only two minutes walk away.
