Aldebaran Pension is located in the heart of Potos, in one of the best locations because it is very close to the beach and all amenities. The owners are very friendly, they speak Greek, English and German. The accommodation is very clean and well maintained.
The pension is about 150m from the beach and is located in the center of town, on the promenade with shops, restaurants, taverns, and souvenir shops.
Accommodation units are arranged in two buildings, which are located next to each other. In the first building, there are eight double rooms and one three-bed room without a kitchen, as well as one apartment, while the studios with a kitchen are located on the upper ground floor of the second building and can host three or four people.
The facility was built in 1989, and the bathrooms were renovated in 2013. Although old, the guesthouse is well maintained.
First object:
Aldebaran has double rooms without kitchen with French or two single beds. There is also one triple room no. 5 with three single beds, two of which are connected. They are located on the high ground floor and on the first floor, and some have a view of the sea, and some have a view of the yard at the back of the house. The rooms only have refrigerators and are best suited for couples. Their size is about 18m2. There are also two large, well-equipped shared kitchens that guests can use to prepare a light meal, tea or coffee. They are located on every floor.
Apartment number 7 is located on the upper ground floor. This unit has a double bed and a sofa bed. The sleeping area is partially separated by a wall, but not by a door, there is only a curtain. It is located in a building where there are also rooms without a kitchen and it has a terrace that can be used only by the guests of this unit and which is located next to the stairs.
Other facility:
There are also four studios with their own kitchens. These units are located on the high ground floor and can be three-bed or four-bed. They have single or French beds, but also folding sofas, bed-drawers or extra beds. Their size is about 20m2.
Both studios and rooms have large common verandas, some of which have sea views. On the verandas, each room has its own furniture for sitting and enjoying.
All accommodation units have air conditioning, TV and wireless internet signal.
Cleaning is daily, towels are changed every 2-3 days, and sheets are changed every 4-5 days.
The house has a fenced yard, so children are safe in it. Guests can also use a portable grill.
The villa does not have a private parking lot, but there is a free public parking lot in the same street, less than a hundred meters away, and another one 200 meters away.
The owner of the villa offers guests the opportunity to use canoes for free, but also those who want to reserve boats for a fee.
You can reach the guesthouse by turning right from the direction of Limenaria, immediately after the Aleksandra Beach Hotel, going down towards the sea. After 200m you will see a small market on the right side of the alley, continue on and after a few meters you will see a house on the left, on the ground floor of which there is a hair salon and a honey store. Aldebaran is directly in front of the aforementioned hair salon.
If you want accommodation in the center of Potos, on the promenade, a minute or two from the beach, Aldebaran can be a good choice.
