Maria Rooms is an accommodation in a popular part of Thassos, near beaches with natural coolness. It is decent and affordable accommodation with a nicely decorated yard in the shade and a parking lot.
This accommodation is located in Skala Rachoni and the beach 100 meters away is small and often with leaves, algae and pine needles, but it is Pachis beach, the only beach on the island with natural shade, just a minute's drive from the house (900m).
It is a large building consisting of a very spacious yard. Maria Rooms offers 10 accommodation units without a kitchen (about 15 m2) - two four-bed rooms, six three-bed rooms and two double rooms.
First floor:
On the first floor, there are two double rooms with two joined single beds as well as three triple rooms with two joined single beds and another bed that can be pulled out from under one of the single beds. On the first floor there is a common kitchen as well as tables and chairs, which are available to all guests.
Second floor:
On the second floor there are two four-bed rooms as well as three three-bed rooms. One four-bed room is equipped with a French bed and there are two pull-out beds, while the other four-bed room consists of one French bed, one pull-out single bed, and a couch. The triple rooms have one French and one pull-out bed, like those in the quadruple rooms.
Only the triple rooms on the first floor have a view of the sea.
The rooms are extremely clean, have a fridge and a small stove for preparing coffee or heating milk. All rooms have spacious terraces, bathroom, TV, air conditioning and wireless internet signal.
Bed linen and towels are changed every three days, when the rooms are thoroughly cleaned and tidied.
The courtyard of the villa is very spacious with enough parking space for all the guests' cars, lots of shade, toys for children, furniture for sitting and enjoying, as well as dining tables next to the brick barbecue that is provided for the guests.
If you want to be a little outside the city and the crowds, but very close to the good beaches on the island, Maria Rooms can be an excellent choice. It is located only 1 km from the small town of Skala Rachoni (and the first shops and stores) and 5 minutes drive from the capital city of Limenas, which offers entertainment for children and adults.
