Accommodation: Dimitra House

House Dimitra is located on the beautiful, sandy beach of Pigadaki, near Sikia. Within the accommodation there is also a tavern that has its own sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. Friendly and helpful owners are always there for guests.

It is only separated from the beach by a street, and in the coves on the right and left side, there are other well-known beaches that are worth visiting. The beach where the house is located is clean, with turquoise blue sea. Every day, a mini van with fresh vegetables and fruits passes by the street in front of the house. The nearest market is on the highway, about 2.5 km from the accommodation, and a little before it there is a bakery, about 1.5 km away.

It consists of three separate buildings in which there are a total of five studios, four completely new and one renovated studio.

In the first row to the sea, there is a ground floor building with two brand new studios. In studio no. 2 is entered from the side, and studio no. 1 right. One (no. 2) has a double bed and another double bed that is slightly narrower than standard (for two smaller children), and the other (no. 1) has two double beds of standard dimensions. Both can accommodate a maximum of four people. The kitchens are slightly separated from the rooms, but there are no doors between them. They are equipped as standard with dishes, a stove and a small refrigerator. In studio no. 1 has an enclosed shower tub, and in studio no. 2 are just tiles. Both bathrooms are separated from the rest of the studio by accordion doors. The studios are completely new, have air conditioning, as well as two sofas in front of the studio, but also two beautiful, covered verandas with a fantastic view of the sea. These studios also have at their disposal a brick barbecue located in a small yard directly in front of the studio. TVs were removed this year due to poor signal.

On a small hill behind there is a smaller renovated building, which has a four-bed studio on the first floor, studio no. 5 for a maximum of four adults. In the room separated from the kitchen (not by the door) there is a double bed, which is narrower than standard, and in the room with the kitchen there is a sofa for two people. The kitchen is standard equipped, as in the previous studios. The bathroom has a shower only with tiles. It has a seating area in front of the studio, with a partial view of the sea.

In the third building, above the renovated building, there are two more completely new studios. The entrance is behind the accommodation, from the ground floor, but the studios are on the first floor. One of the studios has a double bed (no. 3), has a double bed and it is possible to add a cot. The second studio (no. 4) has four beds and has two French beds. The kitchens are equipped like other studios. Both bathrooms are tiled with showers, and are separated from the rest of the room by accordion doors. Considering that they are on a high ground, they have a fantastic view of the sea from the terraces. The terraces are spacious and have a table and chairs for sitting. Both studios are neat, clean and completely new, with terraces created for those who know how to enjoy the view.

There are two more units - apartments no. 7 and no. 8, which are located on the first floor. Apartment no. 7 has a double bed in the bedroom, while in the living room there is a corner settee for a maximum of three people. It is also possible to import one ranch bed. A maximum of six people can stay in it. Apartment no. 8 in the bedroom also has a double bed, and in the living room there is a sofa bed for two people. In the kitchens, they have one standard refrigerator, as well as one induction plate, while the bathroom has a shower and bathtub in apartment no. 7, and a tiled shower in number 8.

Bed linen and towels are changed every five days.

The back part of the yard is more tidy compared to the rest, so it has a table and chairs for sitting, a barbecue and a few toys for children. Owned by the same family, there is also the Zampakos tavern on the beach, whose sunbeds are provided free of charge with the ordered drink or coffee. Public parking is in front of the accommodation, next to the tavern, and there is also a parking space behind the older building.

Pigadaki beach is not difficult to find. After turning off the main road towards Sikija beach, continue straight until you reach the fork in the road. The road to the left leads to Sikija beach, and to the right uphill to Pigadaki beach. You will pass the first bay, and the very next bay is Pigadaki beach. On the beach you will see the Zampakos restaurant, which is also part of the Dimitra accommodation.

If you want accommodation with a great view, on a beautiful sandy beach, which is usually not crowded even in the season, on a beach with fine sand and beautiful and clean sea, Dimitra House can be a good choice.
