Our description
The 2-star Hotel Aneton is located in Skala Panagia, better known as Golden Beach, some 400-500 meters from the famous Golden Beach. When you come by the main road from the direction of Limenas and the mountain village of Panagia, at the entrance to Skala Panagia you will see a large arch that says Hotel Aneton, and ten meters ahead you will see another entrance to the hotel complex, also clearly marked.
The yard is extremely spacious, all in greenery, with paved paths, outdoor bar, barbecue area, children's playground with swings, seesaws, carousels, basketball court, table tennis table and multiple parking lots in different parts. The hotel itself consists of several buildings, reception, small lobby and dining room where breakfast is served (5e per person).
Tourists have at their disposal 10 studios and two five-bed apartments, of which two studios and one smaller apartment are located in the basement.
In the central building, where the reception is located, there are three studios and one apartment on the first floor and two studios on the ground floor that are completely adapted for people with disabilities.
The studios are spacious, with two connected and one single bed, a kitchen with a small stove with oven and refrigerator, a dining table with chairs, a large wardrobe in the hallway, a bathroom with shower and curtain and a balcony with seating.
The apartments are comfortable, with table and chairs on the entrance, covered porch, separate kitchen with small stove with oven, refrigerator and dining area, slightly narrower bathroom with shower, bedroom with two connected single beds leading to another bedroom with three single beds, a large three-wing closet and a long balcony leading to both rooms, and on which there is a table with chairs.
If necessary, it is possible to add a cot for a child, and they also have cots for babies.
The studios and apartments are entered directly from the outside or from a long, shared terrace or from a large, covered porch. Separate balconies of accommodation units are located at the opposite end from the entrance, so it is easy to create air flow. As a rule, balconies overlook the yard, greenery and the surrounding hills and mountains.
All accommodation units are equipped with classic, wooden, apartment furniture, kitchens (small stove with oven, medium refrigerator, electric kettle for heating water, pots, dishes and cutlery) and bathrooms (shower with curtain) middle class, air conditioning (in studios) one, two air conditioners in the apartments), TVs (smaller, wall-mounted), wireless internet signal, safes, hair dryers, mosquito nets and tumble dryers on the balconies.
Accommodation units are cleaned every day, bed linen is changed every third day and towels are changed every other day. The owner is a younger man, who speaks excellent English and is very accommodating.
All in all, a decent hotel with spacious and well-equipped accommodation units, with a large yard, lots of entertainment facilities for both old and young and children, with parking.
The hotel is some 400m away from the beach, as well as from the first supermarket and bakery.
If you want decent accommodation near Golden beach, with a large yard for children, then Hotel Aneton is a great choice.
