The large supermarket "My Family" for larger purchases is nearby, at the entrance to Nea Plagia, when you get off the highway from the direction of Thessaloniki. Pharmacies, bakeries, restaurants, confectioners and shops are nearby, as well as larger similar facilities in nearby Flogita or Nea Moudania. The big market is in Flogita. Market day in Nea Mudanja, 8km from the town, is Wednesday - be sure to use a day to visit it. The beach in Paralia Dionysos has several beach bars, taverns. The Luna Park in Nea Plagia is for kids.
