Built on a lush green hillside, Hotel Calypso in Vathy, Ithaca, is a newly-built venue consisting of both luxurious and category B apartments and rooms. Calypso Apartments guarantees an enjoyable stay in excellent rooms and apartments, most of which offer magnificent view not only over the picturesque town and port of Vathy, but also to the cluster of the so-called Echinades islands as well as Lefkas and continental Greece.

All rooms and apartments, regardless of category, are fully air-conditioned, are equipped with a TV and a fridge, and have a brand new private bathroom. Some of the rooms and apartments are also furnished with a fully equipped kitchen.

Our cult bar on the top floor of Calypso Apartments, which literally offers bird’s eye view of the neighbouring islands, is where our guests can enjoy delicious breakfast, surf the web and entertain themselves in a variety of ways.

For those that love walking in nature, Hotel Calypso provides access to a beautiful walking path, which takes you, through a small natural wild oak tree woodland, to the main road to Vathy. Very close to the walking path entrance, we have recently built a very beautiful stone barbecue, which is at the disposal of our guests.

For our guests’ convenience we provide a spacious parking lot, and there are rooms which can be easily accessed by people with physical impairments.
